Janelle was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan but has called Vancouver home since 2009, where she resides happily with her wife and their spunky pup, Joan Jett. A singer from the start, Janelle has always been in choirs, duos, or just doing her own thing. Highlights include being one of the children in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat when the touring show came to Saskatoon, being the CTV Saskatoon Icon sometime in the early 2000s, and performing at the Juno's as a member of Choir!Choir!Choir! with Tegan and Sara. This is Janelle's first show with The Broadway Chorus and she hasn't played a character on stage since childhood, so she's happy to be doing it with such an incredible and welcoming group of people!
