Claire Davis is performing their fifteenth or so show with the Broadway Chorus. By now it feels like a well rehearsed family reunion complete with the weird uncle and rampant karaoke. Some favourite roles include Mirna, afuture fashion predicting quick change fashionista in Deja VooDoo, Mrs. Claus in an Elfing Musical, and an unromantic mermaid in Sub Plots (it really took a while to get used to not being carried everywhere on stage).
Claire discovered musical theatre passing time in the Wise Hall in East Vancouver while their father performed in a glee club. To this day, Claire takes great pleasure in costuming as this also runs in the family with the many talents of their mom who has made ALL THE SKATING COSTUMES - when you know, you know. When not onstage, Claire works as a high school teacher and seriously plays with poetry and painting and the idea of getting a really large cat to rival The Duchess or Seven Potatoes.
Without the gifts of many, this show would not be possible. Claire is extremely grateful to Ashley Lambert-Maberly, Ben Dobyns, Sarah Vollett and all of the many cast and crew that make Broadway Chorus shows an incredible romp. This is the happy place - thank you for coming!
