Bernardo (25) is from the beautiful city of Antigua, Guatemala, a UNESCO World Heritage site. His artistic journey began in childhood with piano lessons, sparking a deep love for music that led him to start composing by the age of 14 inspired by Skyrim’s soundtrack. A year later, he joined the acting academy Escenarte, where he had the privilege of learning from experienced actors he deeply admires.
At 18, motivated by his love for video games, Bernardo moved to Monterrey, Mexico, to study computer science at the Monterrey Institute of Technology on a scholarship. His studies allowed him to explore his passion for technology, while continuing to nurture his artistic side through various acting and music workshops offered at the college. This blend of technical and creative interests also extended to game design and development, where Bernardo’s love for storytelling, technology, music, and immersive experiences could merge.
In addition to acting, Bernardo enjoys music production and composition. He has composed music for an award-winning theatre production in Guatemala, as well as for other projects in both Guatemala and Mexico.
Bernardo is excited to be part of this production and to continue growing as a performer, while constantly refining his technique. He hopes to find a balance between his work as a software engineer and his love for technology and all things geeky with his artistic pursuits at a professional level.
